Spot description
At the resort beach the marked watersports corridor leads between swimming zone and boat moorings to water. West wind often keeps the shallow shoreline area calmer. Northeast can create small waves breaking over offshore sandbanks. Watch for shallow depth, boats and the offshore exclusion area.

West to east can generally reach the bay; thermal effects strengthen easterlies. Northeast brings small waves, while west and west-northwest usually give calmer conditions. Observe swimming and boat zones.
Wide sandy beach with shallow shore and offshore sandbanks. Northeast creates small waves there; westerlies tend to give flat to choppy conditions.
Access is in the watersports corridor at Surendorf resort beach. From Seestraße beach access cross sand directly to water.
Windsurfing school and watersports centre on the beach; kiosk and toilets nearby.
Swimming zone and boat moorings are close to the launch and must stay clear. Sandbanks can be very shallow; a military exclusion area also lies offshore.
