Spot description
Mykali lies on the narrow strait between Samos and the Turkish coast. Southeasterly to southwesterly winds can make a session from the beach possible. The frequent northerly Meltemi, however, blows offshore towards Turkey and can be gusty and variable. Do not launch in this offshore setup; take account of boats, stones and the limited recovery options.
