The sandy beach of Mastichari is exposed on the northwest coast of Kos. Summer wind can strengthen from midday, making the water off the shore choppy. Several watersports operators use different sections of beach. Before rigging, take account of swimming areas, clear launch space and boat routes to the harbour.
