Spot description
Several pebble access points lead into the lagoon between the wakeboard facility and diving centre. Near shore you can stand for the first roughly ten metres. With northeast to east-northeast, Bora arrives sideshore to slightly onshore. The sheltered lagoon stays mostly smooth even in strong wind.
When Bora turns east the launch initially has weaker wind. Towards Punat and the marina it catches again more strongly and gustily. People also ride the lagoon in south wind. Share access points and routes with other water sports users.
More spot information
Bora from northeast to east-northeast arrives sideshore to slightly onshore. In east wind the western launch initially has weaker wind; towards Punat and the marina the downslope wind catches more strongly and gustily. South wind can also work in the lagoon.
Standing depth for the first roughly ten metres near shore; beyond this the sheltered lagoon usually stays smooth in Bora. Strong south wind brings light chop.
From Krk Town take the D102 towards Punat. Launch through one of the pebble access points between the wakeboard facility and diving centre; there is a large car park opposite the diving centre.
Gusts increase considerably towards the marina. Share access and routes with swimmers, wakeboarders and dive boats; watch stones at the pebble entry.
