Spot description
Several sandy bays with differing conditions surround Klintholm harbour. Easterly airflow can form a clean reef break on the east side. Reef and harbour structures limit the usable area; choose access according to wind direction.
More spot information
Southeast to south works well, as do westerlies for bump and jump. Southeast winds arrive onshore on the east side of the harbour entrance; westerlies tend to bring chop.
Sandy bay with moderate surf in east-southeast to southeast; westerlies deliver bump and jump. The harbour breakwater organises waves. Current can be noticeable.
Entry directly at Klintholm Havn harbour. Choose beach section to suit direction; sanitary facilities and dining lie in the harbour area.
The harbour has toilets, dining and a small supermarket; Møn Surf offers lessons and SUP rental.
Noticeable current possible. The sandy bays are easier to read for wave beginners than Møns Fyr, but surf still needs careful assessment in stronger wind.
