Spot description
Kalamaki's long sandy beach offers several possible entries directly from sand. Northerly Meltemi blows across the coast, allowing freeride with moderate waves. Water remains standing depth about 20 m offshore, then gives chop and waves around 1–1.5 m. Wind is weaker here than at Kokkinos Pyrgos' northern launch.

Sandy beach with about 20 m standing depth, then moderate chop and waves around 1–1.5 m. Freeride conditions are not flat water; strong wind makes launch and return more demanding.

Beach parking is available; tavernas, accommodation and further supplies are in Kalamaki.
Strong northerly wind can arrive gusty and cross-shore. Keep swimmers and designated areas clear. Standing depth ends quickly; strong wind requires secure waterstarts and return.
