Spot description
The small windsurfing access at Limeniskos is by the harbour south of Falasarna's main beach. Offshore rocks keep the water here largely smooth. In light northeast wind the sheltered harbour area can be used for manoeuvres; Falasarna's exposed wave beach is separate, farther north.
More spot information
The sheltered harbour section works mainly in light northeast wind. The local description gives as little as about 7–10 kn from this direction as usable; Falasarna's exposed beach conditions cannot be applied to this launch.
Sheltered flat water in the harbour area. Offshore groups of rocks keep the surface calmer than the exposed beach even in stronger wind.
Access is at Limeniskos' small fishing harbour, south of Falasarna's main beach. The launch is across a narrow sandy section; keep harbour traffic clear.
Keep the small harbour entrance and moorings clear. The shallow launch is protected by rocks, but stay close to shore in case of equipment problems and changing wind.
