Spot description
At the causeway between Farø and Bogø there are shallow launches on both sides. Depending on wind angle you can choose the more sheltered shore section. Nature protection rules may apply on the north side during breeding season; on-site notices and barriers govern access.
More spot information
East to northeast is most reliable. West is also rideable; wind angle produces smooth leeward water and small windward chop.
Shallow shoreline zone with a large standing-depth area. Water stays smooth on the sheltered side; short steep chop forms on the windward side. Boulders may lie near shore.
Farø causeway on the E47: parking and rigging directly by the water on either side of the road. Choose the onshore side of the spit to launch.
Parking immediately by the shore; no extensive infrastructure directly at the launch.
Large boulders in shallow nearshore water can damage fins and foils. The site is unprotected and fully exposed to wind; observe nature conservation notices.
