Spot description
Altenteil's natural beach offers an orderly Baltic wave in strong west-northwest to northwest, usually breaking moderately over the offshore sandbank. Storms significantly increase surf and shorebreak. East wind is sideshore and creates bump-and-jump conditions. The exposed coast brings noticeable current; stones at the launch and distance from shore require reliable waterstart and return skills.
